Bec & Pete (and some hot bikes)

Bec & Pete love their bikes just about as much as they love each other, so it seemed only fitting that we should head to the outdoor velodrome (does it have another name if its outdoors?) for a fun shoot on bikes! Bec ditched the lycra shorts and the clippy-in shoes for some awesome clogs and a dress and look at the hotness these two came up with….

HOT.

This was a bit of a Grease moment for me – you know the scene at the end where Sandy sits at the top of the concrete – whatever it is – to watch the drag racing? No, oh. It’s just me then.

Helene

Two gals +  one birthday (21 again) + one sensational hotel room with pampering = a birthday extavaganza!

As a birthday gift to Helene I offered to make her look fabulous and take her photo. I wasn’t sure if she’d think it was a great present or me being a total Terry Tightarse. Thankfully she thought it was awesome (phew!). So I introduced her to the amazing make up artistry of Andrea at Shu Uemura (just to make sure she was feeling really ace) then we trotted off to the Blackman hotel to take some snaps.

Helene was really excited, and a little nervous (feeling a little older having just reached another birthday), but quite frankly, this lady was made for the camera! Look how fabulous she looks.

Oh BE-HAVE!

Topping up on the new lippy from Shu Uemura…. nice.

What a great way to celebrate your birthday, having your photo taken in all your fabulousness. I couldn’t think of many things better. Until, after we’d sat down to snack on some cheese and crackers, popped a bottle of bubbles, it came to us.

We should behave like rock stars and jump on the hotel beds! so much fun, (and a tad exhausting when you are turning 21 AGAIN).

I had to have a go too, and Helene captured a few of my favourite shots of me ever!

Nikki

What do you do on a hot day with a hot model? Take her picture of course!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with the ever chirpy Nikki Howard, here’s a sneak peek. Hailing from Jersey in the Channel Islands, we compared the way we had picked up strange expressions from living overseas (she says “daggy” with a clipped English accent, I say “yoghurt” so that it rhymes with log – things we may never shake) as we had a nice casual shoot in the afternoon sun. Then I  discovered what Nikki thought of to make different facial expressions (don’t worry Nikki I won’t tell) and plenty of belly laughs followed.

She’s got the Kate Winslets about her don’t you think?
